26 Marathons in 2026

Martin is an ultra-runner from South Wales who traded the computer lab for the trails, proving that you don’t have to be a natural-born athlete to go the distance. After finding his purpose through fundraising for ARFID Awareness UK, his journey was nearly derailed by a serious cycling accident that challenged both his physical recovery and his mental health. Rather than giving up, he pivoted from chasing speed to mastering endurance, rebuilding himself one gruelling mile at a time.

Now a marathoner and ultra-runner, Martin is navigating the lasting impact of his accident with a commitment to consistency over pace, proving that grit and a long-haul mindset can carry you further than raw talent ever could.
