The charities

These are the charities I'm fundraising for. Please consider donating if you're able.

ARFID Awareness UK

ARFID - Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder - is a little-known and often misunderstood eating disorder.

"He’ll eat when he’s hungry". For a child with ARFID, that common advice is not only wrong - it's dangerous. Our son has lived with ARFID for his entire life, and the biggest hurdle we face isn't his appetite; it’s the lack of awareness in the community.

Click below to read more about our journey, and why we are raising funds to bridge this knowledge gap. Help us move beyond "picky eating" stereotypes and toward real medical support.

Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team

I consider myself to be very lucky, living in an area of the UK with bountiful access to its beautiful outdoor spaces. And though I hope I never have to call them in an emergency situation, I am reassured that Mountain Rescue teams across the UK are ready to answer the call if needed. I am grateful for all who volunteer their time to help people in distress, and amazingly proud of my brother, Chris, who volunteers with the Central Beacons team.

Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team has launched their 'Heartbeat Appeal', raising funds to replace their defibrillators - vital lifesaving equipment that helps them treat casualties in the mountains and valleys of South Wales.
